PMS (Property Management)
Mews, Opera (OXI, OHIP)
Peoplevine utilizes property management systems to sync member data (such as revenue and bookings) and hotel data to improve accuracy, increase efficiency, and provide a tailored experience to members.

Configuring Opera to work with Peoplevine Connect
The following information has to be provided by the property at the beginning of the process:
Production or non-production (many hotels run non-production OPERA Cloud environments as well as their production environment(s). Determine whether the OPERA Cloud environment you are calling is a production or non-production instance)
Region (the region where the hotel’s OPERA Cloud environment is running)
Tenant/Chain Code (the hotel’s tenant code used to target the right tenant, especially in OPERA Cloud environments that host multiple tenants)
Hotel ID (the OPERA internal ID of a hotel in the customer’s tenant)
SSD URL (the URL on which to create an integration user)
Sometimes it can happen that the property provides the SSD URL in the wrong format e.g. https://rp15-prod2-ssd-osb.oracleindustry.com/OPERAOSB/OPERA_OWS/OWS_WS_51/Information
If this is the case, we have to change the format to the correct one:
https://rp15-prod2-ssd-ohs.oracleindustry.com/identity/faces/register?apiuser=y
Is the property subscribed to OPERA Cloud Foundation
2. Once we have the SSD URL will redirect to the Identity Self Service:
TENANT => provided by hotel
VENDOR => PeopleVine
Interface ID => will be generated automatically - needs to be saved
Interface key => will be generated automatically - needs to be saved
3. Once registered, Oracle triggers a request for approval to the hotel’s admin. Once the request is approved, the email address specified in step #2 will receive an email:
4. The next step is for Peoplevine to create a new environment in their developer portal (Environment => Add Environment)
Integration username => created at step #2 - TENANT_VENDOR
Region => obtained from the hotel on request as per step #1 . Generally, for hotels based in Europe, the region should be Frankfurt, for hotels based out in the US the region should be Ashburn.
Environment =>obtained from the hotel on request as per step #1
In case the request was declined, the hotel either provided the wrong information or the request was not approved yet by the hotel’s admin (step #3)
5. Once step 4 is completed by Peoplevine, you will need to setup the following at the property:
Make sure the contact person has the necessary permissions to perform the configuration:
Interfaces Admin — Business Events: • New/Edit Business Events
6. Create External System for Peoplevine
From the Administration menu, select Interfaces, select Business Events, and then select External Systems.
Click New and enter the following details:
Code: Enter a code for the external system (e.g. Peoplevine)
Description: Enter the name of the external system (e.g. Peoplevine).
External URL: leave blank
Sequence: Specify the sequence in which the external system will display in the External Systems list.
Lookup: do not tick this one, Peoplevine does not lookup profiles
Additional Details:
Property: Enter or select the property.
Active: Click to activate.
NOTE: To delete details, click vertical ellipse and select Delete, click Delete to confirm
Click Save
7. Create External Database for Peoplevine
Go to Toolbox -> System Setup -> External Databases -> New
Fill in the following details
Code – Peoplevine
Description - Peoplevine OHIP 2 Way Integration
Choose External System from the list – Peoplevine
Select the correct property from the Available list and click the right arrow > to move to the Selected column
Go to Save
If you do not have this access, confirm that your role includes "External Database" access along with ensure it's associated with the Chain Role.
7. Once we collect the external system ID information from the hotel, we can gather the rest of the information for the onboarding call from the developer portal and the newly added environment (Environments => select the environment and click View.
Details => get Client ID, Client Secret and Gateway URL)
At this point all requirements are fulfilled for performing the onboarding call:

ExternalHotelID | Hotel ID provided by the hotel at step #1 |
Client ID | Obtained from the environment details at step #7 |
