Connect Oracle OXI and Peoplevine
Integrating the Oracle Opera Exchange Interface (OXI) with Peoplevine provides the functionality of data exchange between cloud systems and the on-premise system, keeping all data synced and up-to-date in a single place. It also enables the hotel system to identify members so they can provide an experience more tailored to the members needs and preferences.

Before you begin
Allow Peoplevine through your firewall
If you have a firewall setup you may need to whitelist Peoplevine's IP addresses for access.

Request Opera OXI to Peoplevine Integration from Oracle
Now that you have gathered your hotel chain information, you can request the part number be added to your account. You will need to have your Oracle Opera account information when contacting Oracle support.
To register an integration partner user with OXI
Contact Oracle Support and request this part number: OPX_PEOPLEVINE.
Oracle will set up a time and date to install the Opera OXI software on your system.
Request a Gateway URL from Opera that will be used to connect to Peoplevine.
Connect Oracle OXI to Peoplevine
By using the information that you gathered and generated in the previous steps, you can now connect Peoplevine with your Oracle OXI deployment.
To connect Oracle OXI to Peoplevine
Login to the Peoplevine Control Panel.
From the Peoplevine banner, choose Automate, click Integrated Platforms.
On the Opera PMS Authentication page, fill out the form to connect your Oracle OXI deployment with Peoplevine.
In the Connection Type section, choose On-Premise via OXI.
Enter your Opera User and Password information in the provided fields.
For Gateway URL, paste the URL from the Opera OXI obtained in the Request Opera OXI to Peoplevine Integration from Oracle section.
The Hotel Code is the same as the Property Code. Enter the Property Code into the Hotel Code field.
On the Select Membership Program to Automatically Enroll into dropdown, designate a Membership that will be used to categorize non-member hotel guests.
Use the checkbox to choose if you want to sync both member and non-member reservations. Enable this feature to sync all data from Opera. If you uncheck this box, we will only sync Member data.
Click Connect to complete the process.
A URL will be generated. This will need to be added in the OXI system.
Add the Peoplevine Connect URL to the Opera OXI system
Select Comm Methods from the drop-down menu, a modal displays.
Paste the URL from the Peoplevine system generated in step 13 above into the URL field.
